Syracuse Man Charged with Impersonating a Police Officer

A Syracuse man is facing criminal impersonation charges after he allegedly posed as a police officer.

Salvatore McCarthy allegedly pulled over a car on Route 31 in Cicero while driving a black Ford Crown Victoria with emergency lights.

McCarthy was arrested by Cicero Police on Tuesday. October 6, 2015.

He is scheduled to answer the charges in court next month.
