Two Syracuse men were arrested in connection with thefts at the WalMart and Best Buy stores in New Hartford.

New Hartford Police say 27-year old Phillip Goodnough and 28-year old James Szkotak are facing charges including possession of stolen property.

Goodnough allegedly stolen 12 DVD's from WalMart and wrapped them in aluminum foil to try and circumvent the security sensors.

Police say they found over $500 worth of video games that were stolen from Best Buy in Goodnough's vehicle, along with heroin.
