There's good news and bad news to be found in a video showing the reaction of the Syracuse Men's Basketball team being selected for the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

The Good: They certainly seem excited and grateful for their invite to the Big Dance.

The Bad: A top level program, coached by Hall of Famer Jim Boeheim, that at times seems to be bursting at the seems with athleticism and talent shouldn't need to wait with baited breath to see if they've made the cut. Having said that, Cuse has lost 5 of its last 6 and is lucky to be apart of March Madness.

The Orange open in the Midwest Region against Dayton (7). One would expect Tom Izzo and Michigan State (2) will win their opening round game and await the winner.

Leader:

Michael Gbinije leads the team with an average of 17.8 points per game, while boasting a shooting percentage just shy of 48%.

Wild Card:

Trevor Cooney has lost his shooting rhythm - He's only scored more than 15 points three times in the team's last 15 games, while shooting 28% from 3-point-range over his last ten games (20-71).

Help Needed In The Paint:

To make it to the Sweet 16 and possibly beyond, Boeheim will need Tyler Lydon and DeJuan Coleman to step up their rebounding and defensive efforts. Michigan State's middle will create problems for Syracuse. The 6-foot-9 Matt Costello is averaging 10.4 points and 8.2 boards-per-game, backed by a solid 7 points and 5.5 rebounds off the bench from freshman Deyonta Davis (6-foot-10).
