Syracuse Native May Become the Next Deputy Secretary of Commerce
A Central New York native is being tapped by the President to serve as the next Deputy Secretary of Commerce.
Bruce Andrews is from Syracuse, a graduate of Nottingham High School. Andrews, who is currently the chief of staff at the Commerce Department, is President Obama's choice for the number two spot.
Andrews, who has been lifelong friends with Congressman Daniel Maffei, is expected to be easily confirmed.
