Taberg Man Shoots Up Neighbor’s Home

Annesville, NY (WIBX) - One of the most important rules of gun safety is knowing what's in back of the target you're shooting at. A Taberg man out target practicing shot up his neighbor's home Saturday afternoon. According to State Police in Lee, 22-year old Denis Hartman was in a field behind his house shooting at targets that were set up on a snowbank.

Two rounds went through the snowbank, striking a house. Hartman was charged with Reckless Endangerment and issued an appearance ticket. He'll be in the Town of Annesville Court later this month to answer the charge.
