Taberg Woman Charged With Raping 12 Year Old Boy

A Taberg woman has been arrested after an investigation into an alleged rape of a 12-year old Floyd boy in February.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center says 18-year old Jean Foster was the child's babysitter.

Foster is charged with one count of rape.  Foster was arraigned and was held in the Oneida County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Authorities say the investigation is continuing and additional charges are likely.

The victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center.
