Crews battled the flames and thick smoke at 17 Bolton Road around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.

According to Sergeant Ronald Fontaine of the New Hartford Police Department, three people were in the house at the time and escaped uninjured, however the three family dogs are unaccounted for
