A physical education and health teacher at Cooperstown Jr./Sr. High School was arrested Friday on charges related to child pornography, WIBX has learned.

Schools in the Cooperstown Central School District are closed today following the death of Superintendent C.J. Herbert.

The Cooperstown School District will be purchasing new uniforms with a new mascot thanks to a $10,000 gift from the Oneida Indian Nation.

The Oneida Nation is scheduled to present a check to the Cooperstown Central School District this week to deliver on a promise made when the district was considering changing its mascot.
