Remington Arms officials have made their first statement in regards to New York's new gun laws. The statement was released on their Facebook page.

Interestingly, Remington did not close the door on an exit from Ilion, simply saying, "Remington will not run or abandon its loyal and hard working 1,300 employees without considerable thought and deliberation." �

Governor Mario Cuomo's favorable rating and support for re-election slipped once again, according to a new Siena poll. While the governor's 62-percent positive rating is solid, it's a considerable slide from his 72-percent positive rating in December.
