ROME, N.Y. (AP) — The federal government has picked Griffiss International Airport as the first test site to license a new low-altitude surveillance system for drones.
More than 120 people joined the NUAIR Alliance and Griffiss International Airport for the inaugural Unmanned Aircraft Systems Industry Days at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino.
Logos Technologies has received authorization from the FAA to be the first company to fly unmanned aircraft out of Griffiss International Airport in Rome.
