New COVID-19 cases in Oneida and Herkimer counties remained relatively low in the latest numbers from local health officials, however, Oneida County is reporting three new deaths.
The Oneida County COVID-19 numbers continue to decline steadily. Numbers across the Mohawk Valley, as a whole, have started the descent down the mountain.
Oneida and Herkimer Counties continue to face new COVID-19 cases any the latest plateau which is far less than December/January, but still much higher than the low numbers of the summer.

Oneida and Herkimer counties once again reported a relatively low number of new COVID positive cases on Tuesday, but there were a total of six local virus deaths.
Oneida and Herkimer counties reported fewer than 100 new positive cases combined in the latest numbers out Monday, however, each county did report new virus-related deaths.
It was another day of condolences for Oneida and Herkimer Counties as more deaths were reported today from COVID-19. Six people died in Oneida County and there was one new death in Herkimer County.
