October 3, 2011 Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Councilmen Jim Zecca and Frank Vescera plan to introduce a resolution at Wednesday night's Common Council meeting that would require the City Clerk to submit all proposed legislation in electronic form to the Council no later than the Monday before the regularly scheduled Council meetings.

May 16, 2011 Utica, NY (WIBX) - Despite growing rumors that suggest otherwise, current Utica Mayor David Roefaro says he will not run for re-election.
"I just bought a new set of golf clubs and I'm shining 'em up. I'm going to enjoy my life," Roefaro told WIBX Monday afternoon. "I want to use those golf clubs."

March 2, 2011 Utica, NY (WIBX) - If the Common Council votes on the proposed Oneida Square roundabout at its meeting tonight there is enough support for the more than $2-million project to pass. At least five councilors have said they will vote in favor: Richard Lawler, Ed Bucciero, Lorraine Arcuri, Joan Scalise and Jerome McKinsey.
