Newark, NJ (WIBX) - Syracuse University guard Dion Waiters didn't have to wait long for his name to be called in last night's NBA Draft.

Kris Joseph erupted for 29 points leading No.2 Syracuse to a 64-61 overtime victory against the 12th-ranked Hoyas at the Carrier Dome.

The No. 1 Syracuse Orange got out to a huge lead in the first half and held off a late-run by No. 20 Marquette to remain undefeated with a 17-0 record overall, and moved to 4-0 in Big East Conference play.

Syracuse, NY (WIBX) - The Hoyas defense clamped down in the final six-minutes to come from behind for a 64-56 win over No.13 Syracuse at the Carrier Dome.

Tampa, FL (WIBX) - No. 17 Syracuse had no trouble dismantling the University of South Florida Saturday, 72-49, to earn their 20th victory of the season.

Hatrford, CT (WIBX) - Brandon Triche lead No. 17 Syracuse with 16 points and the Orange got back in the win column with a 66-58 victory on the road over the 7th ranked Connecticut Huskies.
