Three schools in the Greater Utica area are facing threats, resulting in closure and lockdowns to start the school week. Several schools are now in lockdown status.
New Hartford Central Schools are currently on lockout.
The reason for the security action is currently unknown. Utica College, Jarvis Middle School in Mohawk, and Utica Schools are currently under similar security actions.
