The Oneida County Farm Service Agency is urging agricultural producers to report losses following the Mohawk Valley flooding. Central New York farmers have undoubtedly suffered significant losses as entire crops were swept away by flood waters.
Although officials are grateful for the help that they are receiving from everyone in the Mohawk Valley, public safety authorities speaking for the City of Oneida are asking non-residents to steer clear of the area unless directly involved in the clean-up efforts.
Imagine waking up to a river in your backyard. That's what happened to the Gebo, Adams and Scott families on Charles Street in Mohawk after last weeks flooding.
