Batman’s 75th Anniversary: What Warner Bros. and DC Comics Have in the Works

Few characters have the pop culture clout of Batman, who has spent the better part of a century dominating comic books, the better part of a generation dominating movies, and the better part of a decade dominating video games. To geeks and businessmen alike, he's kind of a big, huge, massive deal. Now, Warner Bros. and DC Comics plan to celebrate the 75th anniversary of their biggest cash cow with a year-long celebration, announcing all kinds of special events and releases to commemorate the creation of Bruce Wayne and his alter ego.

‘Arrow’ “Deathstroke” Preview: Slade Faces Oliver, and Isabel Rochev Returns

The past weeks of the CW's 'Arrow' have focused their attention on adapting DC comics teams from the likes of the "Suicide Squad" to the "Birds of Prey," but next week's "Deathstroke" will return to the matter at hand as Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) takes aim at the Queen family. Marvel’s Animated Movie ‘Big Hero 6′ Makes First Casting — Comedian T.J. Miller

Last year, Disney announced development on its first animated Marvel feature film, 'Big Hero 6,' though after the studio debuted the first concept trailer and images at last year's D23 Expo, we had still yet to learn of any voice cast additions. That all changes as stand-up comic and 'Cloverfield' star T.J. Miller becomes the first actor to land a role in the film.

‘Magic Mike 2′ Titled ‘Magic Mike XXL,’ Lands a Director

While we've been hearing from star Channing Tatum for some time that 'Magic Mike 2' is in the works, even though original director Steven Soderbergh has since retired from making movies, now we've got something more official to go on: the film has been given a very delightful and appropriate title, and a director has officially been chosen to choreograph all those new dance routines.

New ‘Jupiter Ascending’ Trailer: The Wachowskis Go Big, Don’t Go Home

'Jupiter Ascending,' which released two posters earlier today, has just unleashed its latest trailer, giving us a better look at the story. It seems The Wachowskis have merged the standard 'Star Wars'-esque hero's journey with the tale of a princess (Played by Mila Kunis) who finds out her destiny from Channing Tatum after a lifetime of menial labor. The big takeaway from this new spot is that the film looks epic.

‘Sabotage’ Review

In the Drug Enforcement Administration of 'Sabotage,' there's an elite task force comprised of douchebags, jackasses, bullies and morally reprehensible goons. They're thrown the tough assignments; When a drug cartel kingpin needs to be brought to justice, John Breacher (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and his crew of hot-tempered, maladjusted soldiers storm his suburban fortress, pop two in his head, and beeline to the nearest dive bar for one-dollar Budweisers. When an unknown assailant starts picking them off one-by-one, it's hard to feel too bad for the band of brosefs.

‘Into the Storm’ Trailer: ‘Twister’ For the Post-’2012′ Crowd

When it comes to dangerous weather, there's nothing more cinematic than a tornado. 'Twister' knew this back in 1996, and if its new trailer is any indication, 'Into the Storm' knows this now in 2014. But there's one big question lingering on our minds: what can 'Into the Storm' do with highly destructive, low-pressure funnel clouds that 'Twister' didn't already accomplish?

‘Noah’ Review

The story of Noah as it is written in the King James Bible is about three pages. If you want to Google it, read it, then come back to this you can go ahead. I'll wait here as I continue to stream some of Clint Mansell's spooky and enthralling score to the new Darren Aronofsky film starring Russell Crowe.

Back? Yeah, so, not a whole heck of a lot there. But did you catch the tiny references to things you may not recall from Sunday School? The “giants in the Earth” and the “flaming sword”? These are the pools from which Aronofsky irrigates his 'Noah.' This is, to adopt a phrase, the “old, weird Bible,” and its visual language more resembles 'Lord of the Rings' than any typical sandal epic.

Russell Crowe Sings Johnny Cash on ‘The Tonight Show’ and It’s Much Better Than ‘Les Miserables’

Important question: who among you knew that 'Tonight Show' host and all-around funny guy Jimmy Fallon was also a skilled harmonica player? Has he been doing this for long? Does everyone know about this? Should we have already known about this? Somewhat related: who among you knew that Russell Crowe has a background in fronting badly-named rock bands?
