It was a win that ends a two-game skid, but yet another one that Syracuse fans had to sweat out in the closing minute of a game that never should have been that close. And, for much of the second half, it really wasn't.

The No.2 Syracuse Orange shook off sluggish opening half and tied the team's best-ever start to a season (20-0) with a 67-57 win over Wake Forest on Wednesday night.

The Syracuse Orange were able to weather a strong surge by the Hurricanes and remain unbeaten, defeating Miami 64-52 at BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, FL on Satuday.

Three-Point Preview: Pitt-SU The second-ranked and still unbeaten Syracuse Orange (17-0, 4-0 ACC) face perhaps their toughest test so far this season against a very familiar foe, the Pitt Panthers (16-1, 4-0 ACC). Like the Orange, Pitt, who is now ranked #22 in the country, is undefeated in ACC play. Here is a “three-point” preview of this marquee matchup.

The first 30 minutes weren't pretty for the second ranked Orange, especially considering their opponent was just 5-11 entering the game, but Syracuse was able to regroup and stay unbeaten with 69-59 road win over Boston College.
