Motorists who owe New York state money for unpaid Thruway tolls while driving over the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge are being given a chance to pay up.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo says all road construction will be suspended through New Year's Day to ease travel over the holiday weekend.

A number of state agencies, including the State Department of Transportation, Thruway Authority and State Police, are promoting work zone safety as highway construction season gets underway.
