Governor Cuomo today signed legislation designed to combat the growing heroin and opioid epidemic in communities across New York State.

The New York State Senate is announcing the passage of eleven bills that are part of a three way agreement between the Senate, Assembly and Governor Cuomo.

The New York State Senate has passed 23 bills to address issues surrounding the the increase in heroin and opioid abuse in New York State.

The State Senate Joint Task Force on Heroin and Opioid Addiction has issued its final report and recommendations following a series of hearings held across the state.
