Some New York State Electric and Gas customers are looking at starting their weekend still without power following April 4’s powerful winds that swept the state.
New York State Electric and Gas is “assessing” when power might be on to thousands of customers across the state who lost service due to strong winds April 4.
New York State Electric and Gas customers hardest hit by power outages from the March 3 storm may be finding their power back just in time to be hit with the next snow storm.
New York State Electric and Gas is estimating power will be restored to remaining areas that had power off following the May 1 storm at around 10 p.m. May 3.
UPDATE: October 31, 2013 10:50am National Grid says that power has been restored to all but approximately 1,000 customers in the area. They are working to bring back power to those homes before 12:00noon.
Downed power lines, power outages, fallen tree limbs, and traffic cones placed in the middle of some roads where damage was done promise to cause delays this morning as people are getting ready for work and navigating roads filled with debris.
