The Rome Rescue Mission is running short on food and is asking for your help.

Officials at the Rome Rescue Mission say they've had an overwhelming response from the community after a pipe in their dry food pantry burst last week.

The Rome Rescue Mission is asking for the public's help after a water main break flooded part of their food pantry.

When a local business helps a local charity it makes all the difference. Davidson of Rome is teaming up with the Rome Rescue Mission to feed as many hungry people as possible this holiday season. They have setup a GoFundMe page and they are hoping to raise $25,000.

When you think of Thanksgiving you can't help but think about turkey. It's also a day to spend time with family. Some people in our local community don't have family or food for this holiday and that is why there are organizations like the Rome Rescue Mission. A local Boy Scouts Troop through a generous alumni donation was able to donate over 40 birds, but they are still in need of more.

The 2015 Gourmet Guys to the Rescue event to benefit The Rescue Mission of Utica was a huge success! Not only was the turnout fantastic, the food incredible, but Big Frog 104 took home first place in the Desserts category. With my girlfriend's amazing Chocolate Covered Mint Oreo Balls recipe, we had people coming back for more.

Over 300 coats and hundreds of other winter accessories will go to needy Mohawk Valley residents this year.

The Rome Rescue Mission is asking Central New York for help with providing Holiday meals to those less fortunate.  The Mission is in need of 500 turkeys this Thanksgiving.

The 3rd annual "Warm for Winter" Clothing Drive to benefit the Rescue Mission of Utica and the Rome Rescue Mission is underway.
