Higby Road’s ‘Dip’ Sign is a Sign of the ‘Spring’ Times
It's not everyday you see a DIP sign along the highway; in fact, I don't ever remember seeing a DIP sign.
Sure enough, there is one.
The one spotted in the photo above is located on Higby Road near the Herkimer County line. It's warning drivers of a fairly considerable dip in the highway caused by the freeze and thaw that we New Yorker's are so very used to at the end of every winter...
