Sunday was a mixed bag of weather in the Mohawk Valley. Clear blue skies followed by thunderstorms and then followed by clear blue skies. The mixed warm sunny weather followed by thunderstorms lead to a very unique double rainbow over the Valley.
Thunderstorms are one of the coolest parts of nature. There is nothing like sitting in an enclosed porch or looking out a window and watching this powerful force alive and active. A strong line of storms moved through Central New York this afternoon (May 29). The Syracuse area took a particularly hard hit from the storm including the city and village of East Syracuse. The storms then moved through Utica and New Hartford. We've got images of the aftermath in CNY.
