ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — The mayors of Buffalo, Syracuse, Rochester and other upstate cities are urging Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo and state leaders to allow Uber and Lyft to expand throughout the state.
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Uber says nearly 6,000 New York state residents regularly leave the state to drive for the ride-hailing company elsewhere because Uber cannot operate outside of the New York City area.
Nearly a dozen New York Mayors and County Executives, including Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri, have sent a letter to Governor Cuomo and legislative leaders, asking them to pass statewide ride sharing.
