A Upstate New York man was arrested on Monday following an investigation into an alleged Grand Larceny in which he's charged with not paying for several items in the self checkout at Lowes in the Village of Herkimer.
A press release sent out from the Village of Herkimer on Wednesday evening claims that former Herkimer Village Mayor Mark Netti had an unpaid water bill "written off" while he was in office, and he was allowed to avoid late fees that other residents were subjected to.
Recent drinking water quality monitoring conducted by the Village of Herkimer has found elevated levels of lead in drinking water in some homes and buildings in the Village.
