New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - A New Hartford teen has been arrested for driving while intoxicated, after the vehicle she was operating veered off the road, crashing on Route 12-B, near the Town of Kirkland. 

According to New Hartford Police, 19 year old Allyson Meyer was distracted by her passenger, 19 year old Michael LoGalbo, causing her to loose control of the vehicle.  The vehicle struck a guide rail, flipped over and then hit a utility pole.

Meyer, who was not injured, was arrested for DWI. Her passanger was transported to a local hospital for a head laceration.
