Teens Cooking Fresh Caught Fish Cause Traffic Jam In Marcy
Town of Marcy, NY (WIBX) – Teens cooking fresh caught fish cause a minor traffic jam on Route 291 in Marcy. It happened this evening around 6:00 p.m., when the young men decided to make a small fire to cook the fish they caught in the Mohawk River, which runs along Route 291.
Firefighters from the Maynard Fire Department responded to the scene when someone called to report the fire. Smoke could be seen billowing from the densely wooded area where the teens were fishing, causing some bystanders and motorist to stop and inspect the cause of the smoke. After investigating the cause of the fire, firefighters determined that there was no danger to the teens, or the public and left them to enjoy their meal.
