Ten Dog Friendly Stores In The Utica-Rome Area

Have you ever wanted to bring your pooch shopping with you? Here's a list of stores that will let you!

Some dog lovers simply won't leave the house without their four-legged family members, and in these dog days of summer(pun intended) that can mean hot cars during shopping trips.

Now we all know not to leave our furry friends in a hot vehicle, but what do you do if you have to get some shopping done at a store that isn't PetSmart or PetCo?

The dog lovers at Barkpost.com came up with a list of more than 30 dog friendly stores, and at least ten of them are also right here in the Utica area.

Here they are in no particular order:

2. Hobby Lobby

3. Bath & Body Works

4. Home Depot

5. Macy's

6. Bass Pro Shops

7. Barnes & Noble

8. Tractor Supply Co.

9. Old navy

10.Hallmark

 

It should be pointed out that most of these stores are chain stores and each manager may have the right to decide if their individual location will comply so it is best to call ahead firt. (especially in the stores on the list that are located in Sangertown Square).
