Albany, NY (WIBX) - It appears an agreement has been reached to provide some tax revenue to local municipalites from Video Lottery Terminals.

Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney says both houses have agreed to restore 45 percent, the 2008 levels, of the tax revenue from VLT's to county, town and village budgets.

Governor Cuomo had called for that reimbursement funding to be completely eliminated.

Locally, Oneida County, and the town and village of Vernon each recieve tens of thousands of dollars annually from VLT profits at Vernon Downs.
