Thanksgiving Weekend Blood Drive To Help Sandy Victims

Whitesboro, NY (WIBX) - The critical shortage of blood donations is made worse this year because of Hurricane Sandy.

So, if you are eligible to donate and you've had your fill of Thanksgiving dinner, authorities are asking you to consider participating in one of the area's blood drives this weekend.

There is one taking place at Cross Point Church this Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 8:00am to 1:00pm.

A bloodmobile will be at Mohawk Valley Community College from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Thursday, December 6, 2012 in Room 116 of the Alumni College Center Building in Utica.
