The Good News Center Bringing Back ‘Flags for Heroes’

The Good News Center is bringing back what has become one of Central New York's favorite traditions. 'Flags for Heroes' is returning to the Parkway for Veteran's Day.

Beginning the week before the holiday, 1000 flags will be placed in the grass along Memorial Parkway in honor of those who served. Family and friends have the opportunity to dedicate a flag to your hero and benefit a great organization.

The Good News Center is proud to also welcome to the annual event Vietnam Wall Founder and Vietnam Veteran Jan Scruggs. On November 11th he will be the keynote speaker at the ceremony remembering the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.
