Long known as the ‘Getaway Region’ of New York, Oneida County and the Mohawk Valley always have something interesting to offer, this week the play Sordid Lives comes to the Mohawk Valley.

WIBX 950 in conjunction with Oneida County Tourism host This Week In The Mohawk Valley and the CNY Travel Show to highlight community events and opportunities that are coming to the Mohawk Valley throughout the week.

This week, Art Felshaw, Director of the play Sordid Lives and member of the Players of Utica Board of Directors is in studio with Sarah Foster of Oneida County Tourism and Jeff to talk about the black comedy play about white trash written by Del Shores that the Players of Utica are performing.

The Mohawk Valley has many upcoming community events and activities for the coming week including an improvisation exhibit at the Kirkland Arts Center, a bridal workshop at Wolf Oak Acres, a play at the Rome Community Theater and more.
