The Utica FANDEMICON 2016 – This Week In The Mohawk Valley

Long known as the ‘Getaway Region’ of New York, Oneida County and the Mohawk Valley always have something interesting to offer, this week the upcoming Fandemicon 2016 is coming to Utica.

WIBX 950 in conjunction with Oneida County Tourism host This Week In The Mohawk Valley and the CNY Travel Show to highlight community events and opportunities that are coming to the Mohawk Valley throughout the week.

This week, Darby O'Brien, Director of the Utica Public Library, joins Kelly Blazosky of Oneida County Tourism and Jim to talk about FANDEMICON 2016 coming to the Utica Public Library Saturday August 20th. FANDEMICON is a family friendly celebration of all things fandom from comics to games and anime to cosplay. FANDEMICON is free to attend and will feature comic book artists, creators, a video game company, a DJ, the Weasley Family's car from Ithica's Wizarding Weekend, Starship Horizons Bridge Simulator and more.
