Three Arrested Following String Of Burglaries

Herkimer, NY (WIBX) - Three Herkimer County residents are facing charges following a string of break-ins.

20-year-old Gregory Godlewski and 19-year-old Tristan Hall, both of Ilion, and 19-year-old Shana Harrod of Mohawk, were arrested after allegedly committing 15 burglaries in Herkimer County during the past two weeks.

During the last burglary, an elderly woman was confronted.

The trio was identified when an employee at the Herkimer Hannaford's recorded their license plate number after the group visited the store's CoinStar machine numerous times.

All three subjects face felony second degree burglary charges.

Godlewski and Hall were arraigned in the Town of Herkimer Court, while Harrod was arraigned in the Town of German Flatts. All three were sent to the Herkimer County Jail on $50,000 cash, or $100,000 bond.
