Three Arrested On Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop In Eaton

Eaton, NY (WIBX) - Three Ithaca residents are facing various drug charges following a traffic stop in the Madison County town of Eaton.

According to State Police, officers discovered that August White, 32, had an active warrant from Tompkins County and possessed 31 grams of marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms on him.

The driver, Leah Internicola, 28, had marijuana. The other passenger, Stephen Seay, 31, had mushrooms, six unused needles and four oxycodone pills.

White faces one count each of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Marijuana. Seay has two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument.

Internicola was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

The State Police were assisted by the Madison County Sheriff's Department in the arrests.
