Three Arrested For Vehicle Break Ins On Nichols Street

Three people are facing charges for allegedly breaking into cars on the 900 block of Nichols Street in Utica.

20-year old Richard Hendricks and 19-year old Charles Phillips, both from Utica, and a 16-year old girl were arrested.

All three were charged with petty larceny.

Utica Police say Hendricks, who allegedly had a loaded semi-automatic handgun in his backpack, was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Chief Mark Williams thanked the alert citizens who called the police.
