Three Brooklyn Men Arrested For Soliciting Without A Permit

Three Brooklyn men have been charged with soliciting without a permit.

According to Rome Police the three men were going door to door soliciting residents about a company named Major Eenergy without a peddlers permit from the city.

Police say George butler, Baury Tavarez and Erasmo Ramos are all being held at Rome Police lockup on $100 bail.

Rome police want to remind door to door solicitors that doing so in Rome without a permit is an offense under Rome City Code.
