Three Charged In Madison County Assault

Three people are facing charges in connection with a robbery and assault that happened in the Town of Fenner.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office says 22-year old Betty Jo Savastino and her husband, 24-year old Vincent Savastino of Fenner, along with 21-year old Ryan McGee of Solvay, arranged to meet the victim with the intent to retaliate against him for a drug arrest.

Deputies say when the victim met the suspects, they drove to a secondary location where the victim was assaulted and robbed.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for a cut to the back of his head.

All three suspects were charged with felony assault.
