Three Charged In Utica Burglary

Utica, NY (WIBX) – Utica Police arrested three people following a burglary at a home on William Street.

Officers responding to the scene received a description of the suspects and stopped a vehice on Summit Place.

Police say they found a large sum of money in the vehicle that was allegedly taken in the burglary.

25-year old Desmond Evans of Utica and 26-year old Tyree Snead of Newark, New Jersey were both charged with criminal possession of stolen property and unlawful possession of marijuana.

26-year old Barbara Linder of Utica, who was driving the vehicle, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation

The incident is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Utica Police at 223-3510.
