A nearly ten month long, multi-agency investigation into drug trafficking in Oneida County has led to the arrest of three men.

The U.S Attorney's Office says 42-year old Gilbert Rosa-Sanchez and 40-year old Nicolas Peralta of Utica and 46-year old Ramon Gomez of Lawrence, Massachusetts were arrested in Utica.

The three men are charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribution of cocaine.

Authorities say they seized four kilograms of cocaine at two locations in Utica and one kilo of cocaine from Rosa-Sanchez' vehicle when he was stopped and arrested.

If convicted, the defendants face a minimum sentence of tens years and a maximum sentence of up to life in prison, and fine of up to $10 million.
