Three Rome Men Face Drug, Weapon Charges After Raid

Rome Police conducted a search warrant on Friday, leading to the arrest of three men on drug and gun charges. Police say, members of the Rome Police Detective Division/Special Investigations Unit executed the search warrant discovering a quantity of crack-cocaine, marijuana, scales, packaging materials, cash, and a loaded handgun.

23 year old Michael J. Gilliam, 22 year old Kenneth G. Soberanis and 25 year old Daevon Maitland. All three are facing a charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd. Degree with Intent to Sell, which is a Class B felony. Maitland is also facing a charge of Criminal Possession of a Loaded Firearm in the 2nd. Degree, a class C felony. All three defendants are being held in Rome Police lockup.
