Serious Accident Closes Portion of the New York State Thruway 12-17-13
A portion of the eastbound New York State Thruway (Interstate 90) is closed this morning due to a serious accident that happened between Fultonville and Amsterdam.
UPDATE 1:30PM: The New York State Trooper involved in the incident has died from injuries sustained in the crash.

UPDATE 6:25AM: The Thruway has now re-opened eastbound at Amsterdam.
