A new exhibit is set to open at the Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute on Saturday.

"In Company With Angels: Seven Rediscovered Tiffany Windows" is an exhibition of stained glass angels created in 1902 by Louis Comfort Tiffany.

Anna D'Ambrosio, Chief Curator at Munson Williams, says the windows were created for a church in Cincinnati that was razed in 1964.

The windows were stored in parishioner's garages, basements and barns for nearly 40 years.

She says restoration of the windows began in 2004 and a non-profit organization was formed to preserve and exhibit the windows.

The exhibition will also feature a range of decorative arts created in Tiffany's studios, including colorful lamps, vases and ceramics.

In Company With Angels will be on view through January 4th.

Admission is free for MWPAI members and children 12 and under, $10 for general admission and $5 for students.
