Utica, NY (WIBX) – A 15-year veteran of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office will be running for Herkimer County Sheriff.

Timothy Klock of Herkimer says he will “cut wasteful overtime spending and reduce the tax burden on Herkimer County families, while also creating a safe community to work, live, and raise a family.”

He goes on to say he has dedicated his career to public service and wants to use his experience to run a more efficient Sheriff’s Office.

Klock is a military veteran, who brings 27 years of law enforcement experience to the county, where he currently resides with his wife and two daughters.
