Utica, NY (WIBX) - Voters in New York will head to the polls today for Congressional primaries.

Incumbent Congressman Richard Hanna faces a challenge from Michael Kicinski in a Republican Primary for the 22nd Congressional District seat.

Meanwhile, three Republicans hoping to face Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will meet in a GOP primary today.

Congressman Robert Turner, Manhattan attorney Wendy Long and Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos are vying for the Republican line in November.

Turnout is expected to be low since it's the first time New York has held its Congressional primaries in June.

Polls will be open locally from noon to nine.
