Toddler Protects Mom…From Dad

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A toddler punched his dad to try to keep his mom safe during a fight the two were having.

Utica Police have arrested 30-year old Daniel Penree for allegedly pushing his girlfriend to the ground, taking her keys and cell phone, and then running away from police after they arrived.

The UPD finally used a Taser to get Penree under control.

He was charged with harassment, resisting arrest, and endangering the welfare of a child.
