Town of Augusta Court Cleared Due to Disorderly Subject

The Town of Augusta Court had to be cleared Monday evening due to a disorderly subject.

According to Sheriff Maciol, deputies arrived on North Main Street in Oriskany Falls to respond to reports of a white male who was disrupting proceedings and making others fearful.

Prior to deputies arrival, the Augusta Town Judge and Court Clerk cleared the other individuals from the court room for their safety.

Deputies eventually took the man into custody and transported him to St. Elizabeth's for further evaluation.
