Town of Lee Man Arrested for Assaulting Father

A Town of Lee man is facing assault charges after allegedly putting his father in the hospital.

According to Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol, deputies were called to a residence on Country Club Drive for a reported domestic dispute.

Deputies determined that 22-year-old Sean McCormick of Lee allegedly assaulted his father after a disagreement.

McCormick was taken into custody by deputies and his father was transported to St. Elizabeth's and later transferred to Syracuse Upstate due to the seriousness of his injuries.

McCormick is facing a Felony Charge of Assault in the 2nd degree.
