Townsquare Creative Services Director Wins Broadcast Award

The New York State Broadcasters Association held their annual "Dinner of Excellence" awards earlier this week and Townsquare Media's Chris Spiwak was one of the winners.

Spiwak is the Creative Services Director for Townsquare stations WIBX, Big Frog 104, Lite 987 and The Eagle and he produces many of the commercials that are played on the air.

He won the award for 'Outstanding Commercial' for his work on a spot for Gary Spaven and Sons on Route 5 in Kirkland.  The commercial was produced last fall and was entitled, "Turkey Parade."

The 49th Annual Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting was held on Monday at the Conrad Hotel in Manhattan.  The awards honor excellence in broadcasting for radio and television in New York State.
