Two people were hurt after a hit-and-run crash involving a tractor-trailer near Binghamton High School.

The incident happened on Oak Street around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday (March 2).

Authorities say a truck that had made a delivery to the Family Dollar store at 56 Main Street struck a parked vehicle as it was turning onto Oak Street.

Police say the vehicle that was hit spun around and struck a second parked vehicle, which hit two pedestrians.

The pedestrians were taken to Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City for treatment of possible head and ankle injuries.

The truck involved drove from the scene. It was located a short time later behind a Family Dollar store in Conklin.

Police say the woman who was the driver of the truck was issued a ticket for allegedly leaving the scene of a personal injury crash.
